Wigan Frustrate, But Unbeaten Run Continues

Villa fail to leapfrog into second place after a goalless draw at home to Wigan. Even a strong second half and the return of John Carew couldn’t break the visitors down. Still, Villa remain unbeaten in 12 league games.

Heskey’s name has been linked with Villa Park for a while. Today the rumours of an imminent signing flew around the interwebz. Still yet to be confirmed officially, The Sun are reporting it’s a deal. Gulp.
