it's tough at the top, but worse at the bottom.

we're 6 pts behind where we were at this stage last season (chronologically – http://astonvillacentral.com/tag/this-season-vs...), but over the course of games 27 – 34 last year we took just 4 points from 24.

i'm pretty confident that we'll do far better during that same sequence this year and overhaul those 6 points in the process, finishing the season better off than last year.
