It’s that time of the month again, time to see how our players are measuring up according to the Actim Top 100 Index. This time we once again have 8 players in the top 100:-

  • 6th Gabriel Agbonlahor – 489 points
  • 14th Richard Dunne – 425 points
  • 15th Carlos Cuellar – 411 points
  • 16th James Milner – 408 points
  • 17th Ashley Young – 397 points
  • 28th Brad Friedel – 368 points
  • 63rd Stiliyan Petrov – 301 points
  • 79th James Collins – 288 points

James Collins slipped 10 places, Gabby is down 3 and Richard Dunne down 2 places. Petrov was the biggest climber, moving up 5 spots, while Brad Friedel made up 3 places and Ash just one place better this time. Carlos Cuellar and James Milner were non-movers. All these movements are since the last time I reported of course, not the last update that Actim made.

Interesting that the two centre backs playing as centre backs slip in the rankings, but the centre half playing at right back that apparently leaves some fans feeling frustrated, maintains his position.  Weird that, no?

And in the overall table, well, Birmingham City don’t get too many opportunities to look down on us very often, but they have 9 players in the top 100 if you can believe that, although their average score is pretty low.

It’s interesting that Cuellar is 15th in the list.
That’s pretty impressive for someone who supposedly can’t play RB, imo.
