Well said. I agree wholeheartedly with all of that, except for the end – Cuellar has been shaky at times, but overall reliable. I was more comfortable with him than with Hutton.He has always represented class and team play, and has no embarrassing incidents off the pitch.

I agree that mediocre results for next year are tolerable – I think the keys are to get away from relegation danger, develop a consistent and spirited style of play, win the fans back, and let the players you mentioned know their role and a chance to develop some confidence.

Is the Villa I fell in love coming back??
I sure hope so!

It has felt like such a long time since I’ve actually had faith in the club. I don’t think any of us believe results will come overnight but it’s great to see the club seem to be heading in the right direction.

I really hope a young and ambitious manager is signed. I think we’d all take a couple of years of average results if we are able to see a project being worked on!! I genuinely believe that the youth at our disposal can be used to manufacture a fantastic squad. Players like Albrighton, Bannan, Herd and Lichaj needed to be given the right direction and they could well be the backbone of a great club!!

On a sour note, I was absolutely gutted to hear that Cuellar is off. Our best back, he has been underused and undervalued by our previous managers. I wish him all the best!!

UP THE VILLA!! OHHHHHH HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY DAYSSSSSS!!

seems like the start of a good ending to the year…

1. Twat 1 leaves and takes Twat 2 (Heskey) with him.
2. Dan is back
3. Nan is back
4. I get keys to new house on monday.

I had a terrible year last year and that was capped by Mcleish winning a cup and then heading to VP….

I honestly felt like shooting myself. If only i had Gregory’s invisible gun.

We have a whole pre season with a new manager, providing they get their finger out their arse (present 2)

Heskey is going (present 3)

Dan is posting again (present4)
