Hmm… bit harsh, but not great goalkeeping from Friedel on either goal there. Great work on getting this up on the site, much appreciated!

  yeah, it was a freaky error which gifted them the first, the second i thought was very well taken and resulted from some flat footed defending. the scorer was a 17 year old trialist, i’m guessing he’ll get signed!! but yeah, not brad’s best day at the office i suppose.
  
  i don’t want to get too glum, but i would really have expected us to score a few today, although i believe their keeper did have a much better day at work than brad and i think was the MotM.
  
  for us, i understand albrighton was the standout and it was good to see his cross for the goal coming in from the left.

From what I hear, we had all the majority of the possession but just couldn’t finish it. Isn’t that just the story of the whole of last season? I mean, Jon and Gabby get plenty but it doesn’t add up a brilliant conversion rate when you consider how much play we get on the wings and how many chances we make.

Still loving the idea of Young in that position, though. Seems like the perfect post-Milner solution, and even reduces the need of a new striker.
