Probably not the smartest thing to do, but on a whim I’ve decided to have a crack at pulling a live blog and video together. I’ve quickly thrown together a page which is very much experimental.

The video is a Veetle stream and it should be tuned to the right station already. If you don’t have it, you will probably need to download the Veetle plugin to see the video. Veetle produce what is probably the best quality video streams around, so I’d definitely recommend it.

The blog will go live with team news etc. an hour or so before the 9.15pm kick off. Click here to access the very first Aston Villa Central Matchday Live. (It may be the last as well, we’ll see how it goes!)

    Working fine atm Dan.
Bit confused over the KO time though.
Your link says 8.15, the OS says 9.15 and myP2P says 2200, which I suspect is CET :-)

Good idea this, if it works.

I guess you’ve heard the supposed ITK that Milner is flying home for a medical tomorrow?

I’m not holding my breath, but Ianrobo mentions it if you’re interested.

Up and down game last night, but I thought Albrighton looked very good.

yeah, it’s the time the chat thingy was supposed to go live…. but i was hedging tbh as i assumed there was an hour between portugal and the UK. there isn’t apparently.

er, yeah, don’t pay much attention to anonymous comments on blogs or forums. not saying it isn’t true, but for every one that’s right, there’s a thousand that are bullshit.
