I have to admit, there are a number of things that Manchester City are doing very well, better than most of the clubs in the league at the moment. Their website is excellent and the video content they produce also sets the standard for the rest to follow. I’d imagine their budget for this sort of thing is somewhat bigger than most clubs.
They’ve been using YouTube for a while now, recently signing a formal deal with the website, and are clearly aiming to get as many eyes on their content as possible to help fuel the growth they need.
City, just like England, have been putting out these behind the scenes “tunnel cams” from their home games. They’re always pretty interesting, they tend to cover the players arriving, the captains visiting the referee’s office, and the players coming in and out for the warm ups and during the game itself.
They’re always pretty much the same, there’s an awful lot of handshaking that takes place, especially in this one with so many players who have swapped clubs and/or know each other from international duty. Stephen Ireland seems to be of particular interest this time.

If you weren’t aware, there is an Aston Villa YouTube channel and they do sometimes put out some quality content, but mostly the channel just serves ads for AVTV which is available on a subscription basis to non-season ticket holders.

its nice to see how players are friends in the game as well as competitors villa should make an effort to do this every home game you feel included in the behind the scenes action and its good for young kids to see too
It was interesting to see that Ireland was the one doing most of the stretching etc.
Who says he doesn’t care?
And was Heskey checking his hamstrings when they were going out for the second half? (rolleyes)
The Villa boys didn’t look like a team at all. They didn’t look determined before the game, nor sad after! Bad signs
The city boys stayed together and went out together. Our guys were ambling on and off whenever they liked. No wonder they don’t play like a unit.
I must admit, I noticed that too.
Check the video at 0:15, just after Brian Kidd walks in – you see wee Barry Bannan arriving!!
so wrong!
Like the comments between Given and Hart talking about the marks on Givens stomach…..Given saying Balotelli was laughing when Given showed him his cuts. Hart ‘ That’s Balotelli!’
