I’m tempted to apologise for the cynicism as it’s generally not my style… but no, forget it, the timing is little better than MON’s resignation.

I appreciate that information will be coming from the club in due course, but pumping out silly bits of PR guff as if nothing has happened is a little insulting. I’m sure it’s not as bad as I’m portraying in this cartoon, but it certainly feels a little like that.

However, my jadedness to one side, on its merits, it looks like certain sections at least will be getting a much needed modern make over. I expect I was just one of many mentioning the Man City website in the feedback and the designers clearly heard us as the screen shots below show:-

And on to more encouraging news, Sky Sports News are reporting that Stephen Ireland is “in talks with Aston Villa over a possible move from Manchester City”. Presumably Ireland will get the skinny on plans moving forward.

I’m sure we will too when it’s appropriate. In the mean time, I’m not that interested in what Ugo Ehiogu thinks of our defence. I hate to take cheap shots at the web guys like this, it must be hard for them too, but a little common sense wouldn’t go a miss.
