Today’s Carling Cup Semi-Final between Aston Villa and Blackburn at Ewood Park has been called off due to snow. I’m sure that Ewood Park probably has under-soil heating, but Police were advising people not to travel in the region unless they really had to. When that’s the case, unfortunately the game has to be postponed.

The 2nd leg, to be played at Villa Park, is scheduled for Wednesday 20th January. Next week looks clear so this game may well be rescheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday. Confirmation will follow.

Update: It’s looking like this game is going to be rescheduled next Thursday 14th January with an 8pm kick off. This is now confirmed.
