I love that the Villa are media savvy enough to put together some player intro videos for use on the big screen at Villa Park before games. I love it even more that they’ve got the whole squad, including the more junior members, done this season already. It’s even better that they’ve shared them on the AVTV YouTube channel.
That said, you don’t really want to watch 30 odd 4 second individual clips of each player do you?
OK, the Peace Cup is old news now, but I wanted to bring you the organiser’s productions of the semi-final and final and it will also give me a chance to have a whine about something that gets on my nerves.
I have to warn you, these videos feature lots of people talking about what a great concept the Peace Cup is and how well organised it was – complete with empty seats as far as the eye can see!!
A jazzy video featuring the irritating Peace Cup Theme Tune. Doesn’t matter how many clever editing techniques are used, it’s difficult to make it look like there’s anyone at the game.
John Carew’s look over his shoulder as he walks down the tunnel at the end of video made me chuckle for some reason.
