We know that Man Utd are suffering a massive shortage of defensive players, but they’ve still managed to comprehensively beat West Ham and Wolfsburg away from home. They may have Vidic back for this game, but they surely can’t be too happy about having to face the likes of Milner, Ash, Downing and Gabby right now.

Michael Owen may have struck a hatrick in Germany this week, but he’s unlikely to find Dunne & Cuellar so generous.

Take nothing for granted, even if they were so short of players that Sir Alex himself needed to lace up his boots, this is still Man Utd at home. Remember that young Italian none of us had heard of before?? That said, we’re coming off two great performances. Personally, I think Utd probably considered themselves fairly fortunate to get the three points from this fixture last season, they’re definitely beatable.
