Has Phil Brown Lost It??

I can’t claim to know much about Hull’s manager, Phil Brown, but I think it’s fair to say that he and his team have made a good impression since stepping up the Premiership. I mentioned his half time team talk on the pitch recently and I’m still not too sure what I make of it, but it’s certainly ballsy.
But has the pressure of 11 games with only a single win got to him?? Here’s his view on referee Steve Bennett’s change of mind on the penalty decision at the KC Stadium today from BBC:-
It’s a tough one. The referee got it wrong because he gave it originally. The linesman took up a position that he was giving the penalty but for some reason they’ve changed their mind between them. The referee is 15 yards away but he consults a linesman who was 40 yards away from the incident.
Huh?? The referee got it wrong because he changed his mind and got it right?? He got it wrong because he got a second opinion and came to the correct conclusion?? Seriously Mr Brown, these are words that wouldn’t be out of place flowing from Arsene Wenger’s mouth. Someone needs a rest I think.
