Ash may well have picked up some personal silverware last night, but I’m claiming it on behalf of the club (I might not have any right or authority to do so, but it makes me feel better to think I can, mmmmkay?). Similarly, and hot on Ash’s heels, the Reserves beat WBA 2-0 tonight and claimed the Barclays Reserve South title for the second year running.  So there you go, more silverware for Villa this season.

The team will now host the northern champions, Sunderland, in a play-off final at Villa Park on Wednesday May 20th, kick off at 1900. Hopefully we’ll see a better performance and result than last year’s final at Anfield.
