Ex-Villan David Ginola just took part in the draw for the FA Cup Semi-Final and Aston Villa will play Chelsea… thanks David!!
In the other Semi-Final, Portsmouth will take on Spurs or Fulham.
Both matches will be played at Wembley Stadium over the weekend of 10 April and 11 April.

In a lot of ways this game reminded me of the 3-1 win at Anfield and looking at the stats it’s easy to see why. Statistically speaking, Villa took a bit of a battering, but I’m not sure how many neutral observers could reconcile the game they witnessed with the stats below. I’m struggling myself, but I’m biased and I admit it, I thought MON’s men gave an enormous performance.

Another terrific game at Villa Park, but Villa fall short of getting a result they probably deserved. It’s disappointing for sure, but will it lead to heartbreak further down the line?? Could a trip to Moscow now make or break our season??
