Follow Friday Team of the Week – Carling Cup Final Edition

I know Twitter isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but you ought to know by now that I’m a big fan. Some people seemingly just want to use it as an additional method of publishing their blogs, and it is good for that, but I prefer to look at it as two-way communication. For me, it’s about having a conversation and that’s the theme of this Follow Friday Team of the Week on the last Friday before our Carling Cup Final against Man Utd.
You’ll no doubt notice the three Aston Villa players on Twitter are in the side and I imagine that you’re already following Brad Guzan, Carlos Cuellar and James Collins, but I wanted to include them here just in case. If I’m honest, it’s kinda fun in a lame, childish way to send them out in their correct positions.
The other 8 names will be less familiar perhaps, but these are people who I regularly have brief chats with on Twitter and felt they ought to get some recognition. There are others of course, once again I couldn’t pick everyone, the gaffer’s job is never an easy one you know!
I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who does follow Aston Villa Central on Twitter and encourage you all to join in the conversation. If you’re an Aston Villa fan using Twitter and you’re not following yet, what’s wrong with you?
Oh, and yes, Brad Guzan is using that Olympic Wallpaper I made as his avatar!! I have more in the pipeline, but they won’t be published until the new site goes live, which shouldn’t be too far away now. Watch this space!!
