Kick Off Less Than Two Hours Away

OK, we’re just hours away from kicking off one of the most important games in recent memory and I have to admit to being both excited and not a little nervous.

It’s effectively half time, but we have the advantage of having the lead and the home support for the second half. We’re just 90 minutes away from booking our first trip to Wembley in a decade!!

Martin O’Neill knows all about the League Cup and I can’t imagine for a second that he’s going to allow his side to be complacent enough to miss out on this opportunity today. But let’s not count any chickens yet, Blackburn are unlikely not to put up some kind of fight.

This won’t be easy, we’ll need performances all round the pitch and we may just need to score a goal or two, so let’s hope we take the chances when they come this time.  I’m looking at you Mr Heskey!!

If anything major comes up before kick off I’ll update it here, but otherwise it’s over to Twitter soon.

UTV!!
