I haven’t made any new wallpapers for a while, so I figured it would be a useful distraction from the gloomy outlook at the moment. I thought it might be fun to mess around with some typography and naturally these words just fell onto the canvas.

The reserves in action at Villa Park against Chelsea reserves on March 2nd.
2-0 to the Citeh. Over the course of the season, a rare away loss. But in the context of current form, it’s just another poor result. In the context of the upcoming fixtures…. well, er, *gulp*
Despite only having 35% possession, Stoke somehow head home with a point. I think I preferred it when we played badly, but still got results. 11 games left, hopefully we’ll play some truly awful football and take the points we need!!
The mostly second string team lose 2-0 in Moscow and Villa’s European journey comes to a close with a whimper. MON had to decide on his priorities, as he said was likely several weeks ago, and this week it became clear that the UEFA Cup wasn’t foremost on his mind.
Another terrific game at Villa Park, but Villa fall short of getting a result they probably deserved. It’s disappointing for sure, but will it lead to heartbreak further down the line?? Could a trip to Moscow now make or break our season??
UEFA Cup Round of 32, 1st Leg – Villa 1 CSKA Moscow 1. Another fantastic European night at Villa Park, but plenty left to do in Moscow next week. The fat lady’s not singing just yet though, there’s no question that this is very doable.
European competition returns and it’s getting serious now. CSKA Moscow, the team with the best record in the group stages, comes to Villa Park tonight, but will the players and staff be more concerned with Chelsea’s visit on Saturday?
The magic of the FA Cup is over for another season for Aston Villa, Everton deservedly go through to the quarter finals.
