Villa vs Arsenal

Christmas has got in the way somewhat lately, but the site is still technically under construction so I’m not concerned. Merry Xmas by the way!!

So you’ll all be very aware by now that Laursen is out with a dodgy knee and Cuellar isn’t looking too hopeful after a crunching tackle at Upton Park last weekend.

On the positive side, from our perspective, Fabregas is out with a knee injury (probably 4months) and Adebayor is suspended.

That said, when we played Chelsea we felt a few key players missing from their line up was the key to getting a result. We were played off the the pitch. Let’s hope there’s no repeat this time.

As far as predictions go it’s a tricky one. On their day, if I’m honest, Arsenal are still a better team than us playing better football, but on our day we can take on anyone and win. Bottom line; I’d take a point and remain 3 points clear, but wouldn’t stretching that to 6 points be awesome?!?!

The game will be shown live on SkySports 1 in the UK and Fox Soccer Channel in the US.
