Villa's Visit To Gillingham – From The Local's Perspective

Written by Dan on January 5, 2009

I just came across this really nice narrative of the recent FA Cup tie in Kent from one of the local fan’s experience.  What I enjoy in this article is the sense of the influx of people coming to see the Premier League club in town.  You can really feel and understand his frustration at not being able to easily do the things he does at any other home game, like buy a programme or burger.   But at least his club got a bumper pay day out of the game.

Chin up Yoosof, your team did you proud.  Oh, and Ash might have gone down easily, but those are penalties all day long!!
