Just a quick note to the “journalists” at the News of the World – if you’re going to make something up, please just do some basic, rudimentary research first.
Today they’re claiming that Aston Villa are about to make a “shock move” for Wigan’s back up goalkeeper, Mike Pollitt, as cover for the two Brads. In fact, it’s only a short piece, I’ll quote it in full:-

Wow!! It took a penalty shoot out to settle this one, but Aston Villa will be in the next round of the Carling Cup after beating Sunderland 3 -1 from the spot. Brad Guzan has emerged as an absolute super hero after not only saving 3 penalties during the shoot out, but also one in the 85th minute and also made a number of crucial saves during the game! I’m working on a new set of Aston Villa player avatars in spare moments here and there. I thought I’d share the first batch. Don’t ask me why I picked these players, they were just the most convenient at the time I think.
Most forums and blogs have some kind of restriction on avatar dimensions, so I’ve created these in 100×100, 75×75 and 50×50 pixels which will hopefully have you covered. They’re in PNG
